Continuation of Public Worship

Previously published June 2, 2020

It was so good to see many cheerful faces in church this past week (I assume they were cheerful behind those masks).  This past week of public services was a joyous and Spirit-filled reminder that our faithful community is stronger than this pandemic.  Whether you worshiped with us online or in-person, I am humbled by the love and support I witnessed during these interesting times.

Our return to public worship was made possible by the love and labor of many individuals, and I am so grateful for their time and talents.

Moving forward, I am adjusting the weekly schedule of worship to reflect the needs of Redeemer. Instead of 6 public services, we will offer 4 (three on Sunday, one on Wednesday). If we need to add/subtract offerings in the future, we will do so.

Online worship will remain the same as usual.

The sign-up link for services remains the same, and will remain static. I will create new "services" each week for you to sign up for.  As always, if you or a loved one cannot go online to sign up, please contact me directly.  Also, if you are more comfortable worshiping from the safety of your home, please do so. Online worship will always continue.

At present, we will worship:

  • Sunday at 09:30am, 11:00am, 4:30pm

  • Wednesday at 09:30am

Sign up here: https://reopen.church/r/kIlyha9q

We will continue to observe necessary precautions as we gather together, including:

  • a 10-person maximum per service

  • entering and exiting the church through the red main door (no access to Cannon Hall).

  • appropriately spaced seating

  • the wearing of face masks (2 yrs. and older)

  • practicing hand sanitization

  • receiving the Eucharist in one kind (bread only).

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at frmclarty@gmail.com or call me at the church 601-833-7399 or on my cell 601-212-4042.

Christ's peace,
