Redeemer's New Website

"And grant that we may never forget that our common life depends upon each other's toil..."

—Compline, BCP 134.

I am happy to share some exciting news. Redeemer's new website is live! To some of you, this may not be "hot" or "exciting" news. I realize that many don't need to use the church website; you already know what is going on. However, newcomers need to see who we are and what we are about before they ever walk through those red doors.

Similarly, worship as a faith community amid this pandemic has proven that streamlined and wide-reaching digital content is an absolute necessity. Case in point, since we started offering online services in April, our weekly online "attendance" is double what it before social distancing. We have newcomers as far off as Colorado, who regularly attend our services online.

This site is the result of many people's work and contributions. It is a digital reflection of everything that Redeemer is. As such, it will move and grow organically with the community it mirrors, changing with the seasons.  There are still areas "under construction," so your patience is appreciated.

Online services will continue and will be posted to YouTube, which will then be simultaneously displayed on the website and Facebook. Until now, Facebook was the "go-to" for Redeemer's online worship, but since not everyone has a Facebook account, it was not always reaching everyone. YouTube is more flexible in that regard.

Since returning to public worship on Pentecost, we have noticed some trends and have adjusted worship accordingly.  Sunday worship will take place at 9:30 am and 11:00 am [there is no more 4:30 pm service]. Wednesday worship will take place at 9:30 am[there is no more 11:00 am service]. Compline will continue online, Mondays and Thursdays at 8:00 pm [there will not be a Friday offering].

In summation,

  • If you want to attend worship online, visit the website, YouTube, or Facebook (your choice, it will all be there).

  • If you wish to attend in-person, you still need to register at https://reopen.church/r/kIlyha9q

    • masks required

    • 25-person limit per service

    • social distancing protocols

    • bread-only Eucharist
